LED driver and transformer manufacturer Magnitude Lighting has added another power solution to its line of programmable LED drivers. The CFLEX Compact is a constant current 0-10V dimmable driver that can be pre-programmed for high-volume installations or customized using an optional stand-alone programming tool that does not require a PC or mobile phone interface.

“The CFLEX is a value-for-money version of our top-of-the-line AFLEX wireless programmable product,” noted Walter Simson, Magnitude President and CEO. “This addresses the need for inventory reduction strategies, especially for those who need to change drivers quickly. With our programmable drives, there is no need to order long lead-time original equipment replacement parts.”

Magnitude’s popular AFLEX LED drivers include wireless NFC (Near Field Communication), while the CFLEX uses a 2-wire programmer, which can be purchased separately. Since the programmer does not require a PC, it can be used in the field with a simple USB adapter. CFLEX is suitable for almost any installation application and is dimmable to 1% with dim-to-off functionality. Additional features include a wide voltage/current input range and a Class-P replacement ready rating.

“We designed some of the great features of AFLEX into CFLEX Compact, but didn’t add higher-end features to keep the price very competitive,” said Chris Sulek, Director of Product Management at Magnitude. “CFLEX brings the benefits of programmable LED drivers to more electricians and installers.”
